Not nearly as fun as the first one!!

The Adventures Of Merlin

This series focuses on the young Merlin just arriving to Camelot. Who soon finds out magic is outlawed and nothing is ever easy.

Although it has it's tacky moments, the series is good clean fun that everyone can enjoy. I first saw it while traveling on the BBC, since the show does not air on American t.v. Colin Morgan is charming and maintains a steady character who is easy to like. Critics claim the series isn't accurate. I would like to remind them Camelot is a myth.

Anthony Head makes a very believable Uther Pendragon, a character you will love and loath. While any man would fall head over heels for the lovely Katie Mcgrath as Morgana. I was hooked from the first show and actually like it better than Dr. Who. The C.G.I. looks a little under funded at times, although the sets are extremely well done. Merlin is worth watching and deserves recognition on the prime time lot.

Swordfish

Until they raise the stakes by reminding him about his daughter, Holly, who is currently living with her mom and her new husband who produces porn. But with the money they would pay him, he would be able to rescue his daughter. Stanley joins the covert counter-terrorist unit and gets back into a life he thought he had left far behind.

Travolta is good in this one.

Michael

Two reporters for a tabloid newspaper, Frank Quinlan and Huey Driscoll, are called to do a story about a woman that has an "angel" living as a tenant. When she dies, arch-angel Michael (John Travolta) travels with them and their "angel expert" (a woman sent by their editor) back to Chicago. Michael enjoys everything about being on earth, and is constantly eating, smoking and flirting with women. In heaven, he says, you are allowed a certain number of vacations to earth... and he is in the middle of his last one. Throughout the movie, Michael shows the main characters how to laugh, love and most of all, live.

Romantic angel-story

Phenomenon

George Malley (John Travolta) is an ordinary guy working as a car mechanic in an ordinary town when his life changes on his birthday. In the middle of all this, George meets Lace Penniman (Kyra Sedgwick) and falls in love with her and her two kids. When the real cause of George's new abilities is revealed, it forces everyone to reevaluate their lives and priorities.

A really good movie. old but good

The Water Horse: Legend Of The Deep

In The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep, Angus (Alex Etel) is a lonely, young boy who discovers an unusual egg on the side of Loch Ness in Scotland during the Second World War. The egg eventually hatches to reveal Crusoe, a mythical "Water Horse" who becomes Angus's treasured pet. However because of his ever increasing size and unusual nature plus the appearance of soldiers around the lake, Crusoe becomes ever more difficult to hide. The film details Angus's special and touching relationship with his unique Water Horse alongside his mother (Emily Watson) and the local handyman Lewis Mowbray (Ben Chaplin).

Another cute story about friendship.

This Movie Sucked ASS!!

Bridge to Terabithia

Bridge to Terabithia is a wonderful story of two pre-teen kids who become friends and create an imaginary world where they can escape social and family pressure. Leslie (Anna Sophia Robb) teaches Jess Aarons (Josh Hutcherson) how to use his imagination and artistic skills to create a wonderland adventure place in the woods. Jess becomes a friend to a lonely, outcast Leslie who has difficulty fitting in at school. Leslie is a bright spot in Jess' otherwise grey and dreary life, where he is the only boy among his siblings. Jess' family is poor and is having difficulty making ends meet which causes family tensions that affect the relationship between Jess and his father. As the film progresses, the bond between Leslie and Jess gets stronger and Jess truly comes to understand the value of a friendship.

A cute little film about friendship.
