It is the time of the Sede Vacante at the Vatican as the beloved Pope has just died. As the cardinals gather to select a new pope, four of them are kidnapped by a mysterious assassin who vows to destroy Vatican City. The Vatican asks Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) to track the mysterious clues that point to a secret scientific society called "The Illuminati" as the perpetrators of the kidnappings. Helping him are the Captain of the Swiss Guards, Commander Richter (Stellan Skarsgard) and Camerlengo Patrick McKenna (Ewan MacGregor), the former pope's chamberlain. As they track down the clues across Rome, it becomes evident that the assassin means business as they find each Cardinal dead as promised, and branded with messages. As the conclave continues, and as the timer on the bomb slowly counts down, Langdon is in a race against time to stop the destruction of the church.

So much better than the Da vinci code.

A night At The Museum 2

Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) gets trapped in the Washington museum when he tries to rescue Jedediah Smith (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan), who were sent there by accident due to renovations at the Natural History Museum. After the sun sets Larry meets up with exhibits that come to life such as Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams), Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), General Custer (Bill Hader) and even Al Capone (Jon Bernthal). Larry has been through this before, but clearly didn’t learn his lesson the first time.

The first one was so much better!

Deception

Jonathan McQuarry (Ewan McGregor) doesn't have a lot to look forward to in life. He has a rather boring job as a tax auditor and his social life is bleak. He meets the charismatic attorney Wyatt Bose (Hugh Jackman), who initiates an unlikely friendship for reasons that really aren't clear. A series of "accidents", including a swapping of cell phones, gives Jonathon a better glimpse into his new pal's life. He likes what he sees, getting an invite to an exclusive underground club where secret sex romps provide some needed stimulation in his dull daily life. When Jonathon starts to have feelings for one of the women he's supposed to be just having sex with, he might find out just how far he's in over his head.

Doubt

Set at a Catholic boys school in the Bronx in the 1960s, Doubt is a power play between characters that represent two philosophies of the religion. Catholicism as a representation of old-world guilt and shame is portrayed by Sister Aloysius (Meryl Streep), a fearsome nun with no sense of humor and an iron will for discipline. The kinder, gentler approach is taken by the school’s head priest Father Flynn (Philip Seymour Hoffman). When Aloysius suspects Flynn of an inappropriate relationship with the school’s first black student, with no proof other than hearsay and her own conviction, it sets off a fire storm that threatens to derail the entire parish.

Nick Grant (Chris Evans) has telekinetic abilities and is being hunted down by the government for them. In order to escape he hides in Hong-Kong, which he is told is safe for people like him as long as he stays undercover. A young girl with clairvoyant abilities, Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), seeks Nick out to find a friend, Kira (Camilla Belle). Kira has the solution on how to stop the agency seeking those with powers Nick and Cassie are both driven out of hiding and into the sight of The Division, the government agency hunting those with powers, on their quest and if they don’t find Kira they will become victims themselves.

entertaining, but that's all.

X-Files: I Want To Believe

Six years after the FBI closed the X-Files former agent Dr. Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) is working as a physician at Our Lady of Sorrows hospital where she is treating a boy with a rare terminal disease. In Virginia several women are abducted and the only clues the FBI has are provided by Father Joseph (Billy Connolly), a priest a convicted pedophile. He claims God is sending him visions of the crimes and he leads them to dismembered parts of victims buried in the snow. When a young agent becomes the next victim the FBI decides they need help from the former X-Files agents. They will drop all the charges against former agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) if he helps them with this case. Mulder and Scully with reluctance join the manhunt that pulls them in their dark past and the discovery a gory crime scene.

Spring Breakdown

Spring Breakdown tells the story of three women: Gayle O'Brien (Amy Poehler), Becky St. Germaine (Parker Posey), and Judi Joskow (Rachel Dratch). Each of these best friends have always had dreams of joining the "in-crowd", becoming popular and famous, but always are seen as the geeks and misfits. For spring break, Becky's boss' daughter, Ashley (Amber Tamblyn) wants to go to South Padre Island, and Becky is asked to "unofficially" chaperone the trip. The three friends attempt to break through their stereotypes and enter into the pantheon on coolness - however, once they enter the college spring break culture, filled with the politics and drama that only this atmosphere can supply, will their friendship survive?

Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express is a buddy comedy released in 2008 that details the adventures of two potheads on the run after main character Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) observes a murder from the driveway of a drug kingpin's home. Denton, a pot-smoking, high school girl-dating, process server with little life purpose, suddenly realizes his life is in danger and immediately runs to his small-time drug dealer friend, Saul Silver (James Franco). From there the hijinx begin, as Denton and Silver are forced to run for their lives, while in the meantime reflecting on each of their lives and craving the occasional toke of marijuana.

Harper`s island

As "Harper's Island" races towards its electrifying climax, I find myself bored. People are getting whacked simply for the sake of getting whacked. The survivors are doing what the plot demands of them rather than what their characters demand of them. It's too dangerous to wander around alone -- but they do it several times an episode. The murders grow increasingly preposterous. How many times have we seen one character startled by another sneaking up behind them? I certainly don't jump any more. Sometimes I continue to watch a show that has lost my interest, simply to see how disinterested I can become. At this rate, I'll sleep through the finale, no problem.

Madea Goes To Jail

Based on the homonymous play, this film follows the adventures of a African-American grandmother named Mable "Madea" Simmons (Tyler Perry), whose inclination to getting into trouble brings her in front of a court that sends her to jail. Meanwhile district attorney, Joshua Hardaway (Derek Luke), who is preparing to get married with his fiancee, Linda (Ion Overman), and who is about to obtain significant success in his career, sees his personal and professional life threaten when he gets emotional involved in a case. The case is about a young and former drug addict prostitute named Candance Washington (Keshia Knight Pulliam), with who Joshua has a common past. The moment the beautiful Candance goes to prison, Madea takes the girl under her protection and defends her from the other prisoners
