Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince

“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is yet again another part of the epic story of the life of Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe). It is Harry’s sixth year at the magical school of Hogwarts and he makes a new ally in the form of the new teacher, Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent) as well as private studies under the teaching of Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon). However dark forces move against not only Harry but Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) who help Harry get to the bottom of Malfoy Draco’s (Tom Felton) constant sneaking around school. Along the way Harry finds an old book written by a mysterious Half-Blood Prince which gives him advice and help in his magical studies all to build Harry up to the impending battle with Lord Voldemort.

2012: Supernova

This is an insult to the intelligence of anyone older than 10 years. It makes your garden variety B movie look like an Oscar candidate. I guess in a Saturday afternoon, after a few 6-packers some guys just thought:

"-Hey, we should make a sci-fi movie.

-Wow, that's great! Let's do it!

-OK, but how do we do it? We'll need a script, and actors and special effects and a lot of other things.

-Never mind, we'll just wing it. We'll rent a warehouse and call it the secret base, a bunch of weird looking guys and call them scientists and that's pretty much it. Oh yes, we'll show a stream of rocks traveling through space form thousands of light-years headed towards a single point in the Universe: Earth. And that's pretty much all there is to it. Of course, let's not forget the two chicks who run through all the movie."

So, they went on and made it. The only bad thing was that they never sobered up. So, instead of what it should have been, this pathetic excuse for a movie came up, which turns out to be a horrible rip off of Armageddon. If you're looking for an effective way to kill braincells go and watch this movie. Otherwise run for your life! My thumb is still glued to the fast forward butto

Up

This is the story of an old man named Carl Fredricksen (Edward Asner) and his attempts to fulfill his dream to go to South America. When he is ordered from his home, Carl decides to take matters into his own hands and attaches a large number of balloons to his house. The house lifts off, with an unknown passenger, namely Wilderness Scout Russell (Jordan Nagai). Carl and Russell fly all the way to South America and discover a giant bird, and a lot of trouble. Along the way Carl and Russell form a bond and become good friends.

G-Force

Squad leader Darwin (Sam Rockwell), Weapons expert Blaster (Tracy Morgan), Martial artist pro Juarez (Penelope Cruz), Reconnaissance expert Mooch and Information specialist Speckles (Nicholas Cage), are guinea pigs that have been trained by the government to take on missions. They have the most difficult mission of trying to stop a billionaire from taking over the world with his household appliances. Darwin is constantly trying to be in charge while Blaster keeps testing him and making him feel inadequate. The game is on and the best team for the job is on the case. They have to save the world and keep their sanity while doing it.

Antichrist

A disturbed couple, known as He (Willem Dafoe) and She (Charlotte Gainsbourg), mourn the death of their small child, but their grief quickly descends into nightmares and surreal living conditions. They seem to have a sexual liaison that in some way was responsible for the death of an innocent child. He and She go to a deserted cabin called Eden to work out their kinks, but whatever they see or do, they are catapulted into deeper madness and melancholia. He is not helped by the fact he is an academic, studying the abuse of women who are labeled witches. They come to realize their world is inhabited by a pure incarnate evil ready to spill out again in bizarre and violent examples of mutilation and sexual humiliation.

G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra

G.I. Joe is an international task force that doesn’t officially exist yet that doesn’t prevent them to being the last line of defense against the world’s worst threats. The G.I. Joe organization is the elite of the elite equipped with the most cutting edge technology on earth and the best trained soldiers on the globe. The Joes are led by General Hawk (Dennis Quaid)and they welcome two new American recruits to their ranks: Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans). Just in time as ruthless weapons expert James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) launched a campaign of terror using exotic nanotech weapons. Worldwide, city after city gets attacked and Duke and Ripcord, along with the other Joes, must race to stop McCullen from carrying out his plan of conquest.

Stan Helsing

You can easily compare this to the greats like Date Movie and Disaster Movie and everything by Aaron Seltzer! Bo Zenga is another addition to the "well it sounded good when we threw it around the idea table" club. Of course how can you expect much when one of his last pictures was the comedic gem Soul Plane. If your one of those people who hate that someone close to you drinks too much get back at them by playing the drinking game to this movie. It's simple the rules are you drink every time something funny actually happens in the film. This film is guaranteed to leave you sober. However i can't guarantee you both won't drink yourself silly to try and forget the movie you just watched.

Doghouse

A group of men head to a remote village to help one of their friends get over his divorce; when they get there, though, they discover that all the women have been infected with a virus that makes them man-hating cannibals

Observe And Report

Ronnie Barnhardt (Seth Rogen) is the head of security at the Forest Ridge Mall. He patrols the area with an iron fist where he combats shoplifters and the unruly customers, while at the same time he dreams to be able to swap his small time security job for a badge and a gun as a real police officer. However, his dreams are quickly put to a test when a flasher unexpectedly invades the mall where innocent females become his prey. Meanwhile, Detective Harrison (Ray Liotta) is hunting down the pervert who is terrorizing the women. Soon Ronnie finds himself seizing the opportunity to capture the criminal before the cops get their hands on the wanted pervert.

Beerfest

Beerfest is a comedy about two brothers who travel to Oktoberfest to scatter the ashes of their late grandfather. Upon arrival in Germany they stumble upon a secret competition called Beerfest. The two brothers, Jan Wolfhouse (Paul Soter) Todd Wolfhouse (Erik Stolhanske). In order to defend the family name and the pride of the United States the brothers compete and fail at Beerfest and are sent home angry and wanting revenge. The brothers gather their friends, some of which you may remember from the movie Supertroopers. The group of buddies take their skills to Oktoberfest and find out more family secrets from about the Wolfhouse family on the way.
