2012

Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) is a divorced man. His former wife, Kate Curtis (Amanda Peet) and children live together with another man. In Guatemala there is a rumor that several of people have committed suicide as they believed that the world will cease to exist in 2012. Accordingly, a forum named ``Institute for Human Continuity`` (IHC) is formed. It starts constructing gigantic protective ships/ vessels under the Himalayas to face the dooms day. However, they discover that a global disaster caused by the dislocation of the Earth's outer layer will take place earlier than anticipated. Many cities and civilizations are completely destroyed. As the floods get worse, the US government announces the end of the world. Jackson Curtis and his family and some other survivors struggle their way to China to board the protective ship and save themselves.

War, Inc.

A loose follow up to 1997's Grosse Pointe Blank using similar character and plotline of an assassin, War, Inc. is the story of Brand Hauser (John Cusack) a hired assassin. His job is given to him by the Vice President (Dan Akroyd) who is the owner of Tamerlane, a large corporation. Mr. Vice President wants Hauser to assassinate Oil Minister Omar Sharif (Lyubomir Neikov) who is trying to get a pipeline built through Turiqstan on its own rather than through Tamerlane. As he prepares to do this he uses the wedding of a big star from Central Asia, Yonnica Babyyeah (Hilary Duff) as a cover for his operation. When Brand finds himself head over heels for a beautiful reporter, Natalie Hegalhuzen (Marissa Tomei), things become a lot more complicated for him.

Grosse Pointe Blank

What's a girl to do? Ten years ago Debi Newberry (Minnie Diver) on the night of the high school prom, discovers boyfriend Martin Q. Blank, (John Cusack) does not pick her up and is never to be heard from again. She is ready to kill him, right? She may get her chance when Martin, now a top notch, ex-government "hit" man, in need of "healing" returns to Grosse Point, to attend the tenth year reunion. Debi and about a half dozen other professional hit men want revenge on poor Martin, or to remove the competition, or stop him from completing his own "hit". Bodies, bombs, bullets, love and laughs are in constant motion in this George Armitage "hit" movie.

Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans

In the ruins and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Terence McDonagh (Nicolas Cage), a police detective with corruption seeping through his façade of heroism, faces a mass murder case that unleashes his weirdly deteriorating personality. Using drugs, into mob gambling, McDonagh seems at home in a place where reptilian creatures washed up with the hurricane cavort among the ruins of the city. He is on pain killers for a bad back, and his girlfriend Frankie Donnenfeld (Eva Mendes) who is a prostitute begins to look like a most normal person. In the meantime, McDonagh must protect himself from exposure to colleagues even as he looks into a drug murder of five Senegalese immigrants with his partner Stevie Pruitt (Val Kilmer).

Universal Soldier: Regeneration

Terrorists have stolen top secret technology and created a next generation Universal Soldier, named NGU {Andrei Arlovski}. They then seize the nuclear reactor with the new UniSol leading the way, threatening to destroy millions by unleashing a lethal radioactive cloud. Luc Deveraux {Jean-Claude Van Damme}, a decommissioned UniSol is reactivated and retrained as he is the only one who can stop the terrorists. Deveraux must launch a full-throttle assault on the heavily protected fortress where he discovers not just the one UniSol, but also his ruthless old enemy, Andrew Scott {Dolph Lundgren}. Andrew has been secretly cloned and upgraded. If there is to be any hope for the survival of mankind, Deveraux must fight and annihilate these virtually indestructible warriors programmed to kill.

Bitch Slap

Trixie (Julia Voth), Hel (Erin Cummings) and Camero (Amercia Olivo) are three bad girls who arrive at a remote desert hideaway in order to steal a very expensive diamond from an underworld don called Hot Wire (William Gregory Lee). Many other criminals join the scene and a war to save life starts as the girls face worse enemies that they had contemplated. The girls also get to know that their arrival and the struggle was set up. They face the possibility that one of the three girls is not human. It turns out later that Hel is the one who is not human.

Crazy Heart

Profligate and free-living country western singer Bad Blake (Jeff Bridges) seems to have lived his life on his own terms: one night stands and bouts of heavy drinking. Reduced to singing in bars in the remote American Southwest, he meets a young journalist named Jean Craddock (Maggie Gyllenhaal). He becomes flattered by her interest in him, despite the fact that he has thrown away every opportunity in his life to be a success personally and professionally. Yet, even a last chance at love and compassion cannot cause Bad Blake to reform his desperate lifestyle. Even a chance to team up with his former friend Tommy Sweet (Colin Farrell) only makes Bad Blake swallow a bitter pill.

Survival Of The Dead

Undead permeate the landscape of the United States once again, leaving an intrepid platoon of National Guard soldiers, including Tomboy (Athena Karkanis) a lesbian member, looking for a safe haven. They go to Plum Island off the coast where human survivors are debating whether zombies can be cured or should be tolerated. Seamus Muldoon (Richard Fitzpatrick) leads those who hope for a cure to the affliction, and Patrick O’Flynn (Kenneth Walsh) and James O’Flynn (Julian Richings) think the undead just need to be eradicated. Sergeant Crockett (Alan Van Sprang) ends up an unlikely referee with the help of Janet O’Flynn (Kathleen Munroe). In the meantime, zombies are killed in a variety of imaginative ways.

Defendor

Arthur Poppington (Woody Harrelson) is sometimes a bit delusional and he makes himself into a superhero who he calls Defendor. Armed only with his homemade gadgets, he decides to take on the world to try to make it a better place to live. He unexpectedly finds himself with a partner in his mission, when he rescues a prostitute by the name of Kat (Kat Dennings). After her rescue Defendor finds himself falling for Kat. As the two work together they find themselves climbing an uphill battle as they chase the biggest crime boss in the city. With nothing to aid them other than their own homemade gadgets, courage and strength, Defendor and Kat try to find a way to preserve justice.

Justin Time

Justin (Chris Laird) finds himself of an ancient amulet and calendar disc, which have the power to stop time. The magical artifacts have been passed down through his family for generations, and he is a bit unprepared to receive the artifacts. After learning of their power, Justin decides to use them to do good in world, and sets to work to do just that. However, Justin will have to counter Michael Romano (Michael Flynn), a philanthropist who is determined to get his hands on the artifacts, but for all the wrong reasons, including increasing his own net worth. With the challenge of improving the world while keeping the artifacts out of greedy hands, will Justin succeed?

Skyrunners

Fourteen-year-old Tyler encounters an alien ship which makes him appear older, inexplicably turns him into a "Skyrunner" with incomprehensible powers. This turns his high school life upside down, and may enable him to help his slightly clueless older brother's love life. Black Dynamite

Action legend from the 1970s Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White) an African-American ladies man and soul brother takes on a fight against drug dealing and murder in the ghetto after his brother is murdered. It seems the Black Dynamite is the only man who will take on the fight and uses his gun toting ways to try to clean up the ghetto of the scum that has murdered and sold and distributed drugs to local orphanages in an attempt to get the kids hooked early. Will Black Dynamite live up to his name and succeed in cleaning up the ghetto or will the “MAN” win out and keep the ghetto hooked forever.

The Green Mile

Tom Hanks stars as Paul Edgecombe, head guard of death row in a Depression-era Southern prison. Edgecombe and the guards he works with have the responsibility of guarding and executing the most depraved men in the prision. But their new charge, John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan), is different. Convicted of the rape and murder of two young girls, Coffey nonetheless possesses a childlike demeanor and miraculous healing powers. As the time of Coffey's execution nears, Edgecombe and the other guards begin to realize the scope of Coffey's powers. They also begin to doubt that Coffey is guilty of the crime he was convicted for.

Shutter Island

When the Roman Empire is collapsing around 400 A. A famous teacher and philosopher named Hypatia (Rachel Weisz), who may be one of the most advanced thinkers and women of the ancient world, finds herself caught between a student named Orestes (Oscar Isaac) and one of her slaves named Davus (Max Minghella) in a triangle of love and redemption. Davus has joined the budding Christian faith as a means to escape the Roman subjugation, and Orestes sees the new religion as a political steppingstone. All takes place against the backdrop of the destruction of the Great Library.

Pandorum

Bower (Ben Foster) and Payton (Dennis Quaid), the two astronauts of the 60,000 passenger sleeper ship the Elysium, realize that they are moving along the space 500 million miles from Earth and they are in complete oblivion. They cannot remember their identities and their mission. However, Payton leads Bower through radio to explore deep into the ship to unravel frightening hidden truths. They also find out that some crew members suffer from Pandorum, a grave psychological state that can be prompted by being in deep-space for longer periods. Further, Gallo (Cam Gigande), one of the survivors located by Payton, informs them that planet Earth has been destroyed. To Bower and Payton, self-protection is most important at this juncture.

Jason, Lee & Alec have developed the next step in the communication revolution: a cellular chip implanted in the brain that allows telepathic calls between two contacts. It is revealed that Percy is a descendant of Poseidon, Grover is actually a satyr (half human, half goat) and his protector - and one of his teachers - is actually a centaur. To make things more complicated, Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect. Percy is taken to a camp to learn to use his powers and at the same time his mother is taken prisoner by Hades. When Percy hears this news, he leaves the camp, along with Grover and Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario) to rescue his mother. However, they encounter Medusa (Uma Thurman) standing in their way, among other threats.

Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard

In the 1960s, 13-year-old Arthur stays with his grandparents in the holidays. He is befriended with a Maasai-like tribe called the Bogo Matassalai and with the Minimoys, tooth-sized, elfin beings, who all live there in the garden. The Bogo Matassalai grant Arthur a distinction regarding being one with nature, after succeeding in a series of tests, such as hugging a tree for hours, sleeping with a wild animal, and eating grass.

The Bogo Matassalai are capable of transforming a person to a Minimoy. It is only possible every tenth full moon, at midnight. Arthur is about to undergo this procedure, to visit the Minimoys (who are expecting him and preparing a party for him), and especially his beloved Selenia. A spider delivers to Arthur a grain of rice with the message "help", which must come from the Minimoys, and makes it even more important for him to visit them.

Blind Side

Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) a homeless black kid who is the product of a broken home is taken in by a wealthy white family called the Touhys. The family helps Oher fulfill his promise while learning some interesting things about themselves. The young man is in an unfamiliar environment and has to overcome many challenges. He plays football and is coached and helped by his adopted family and works his way to become an All-American football player who seems to be headed for bigger and better things as a possible pro prospect. Will Michael succeed in his quest?

Tooth Fairy

Derek Thompson (Dwayne Johnson) is a tough, gritty minor league hockey player whose brutal style of play has earned him the nickname of "The Tooth Fairy" due to his habit of knocking out opponents' teeth. His brutality on the ice lends itself to a negative attitude off the ice. He almost unintentionally ends his relationship with girlfriend Carly (Ashley Judd) after telling her daughter Tess (Destiny Grace Whitlock) that the tooth fairy doesn't exist, and that same night, he is sentenced by head fairy Lily (Julie Andrews) to a stint as the tooth fairy. His new job, complete with a tutu and wings, is not as easy as it looks, and Derek isn't ready to put in the effort to do the job well. With the help of fairy Tracy (Stephen Merchant), he begins to find his way, and is surprised with what he learns about himself in the process.
