Riverworld


Matt Ellman (Tahmoh Penikett) is an American war correspondent whose war experiences have been horrific. However, despite the awful scenes he has witnessed during his work, he still holds a positive attitude. A suicide bomber murders him and Jessie (Laura Vandervoort), his fiancée. After they are killed, they each become awake in a strange world called Riverworld where everyone formerly from Earth is reborn and living along an endless riverbank. Because they have awakened separated, Matt wants to find Jessie again. He connects with Tomoe (Jeananne Goossen), a Thirteenth Century samurai warrior who happens to be female, and Samuel Clemens, aka Mark Twain (Mark Deklin) and together they set out to find Jessie. To do that they set sail on the river and will also see if they can find the river’s source and find out where they really are and how they got there.

Alice

This mini-series is based on Lewis Carroll's books; "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass." It provides the stories with a modern twist.

Rambo

After a long absence John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) is back. He has been living in Thailand, in a village not far from the borders of Burma, which is ruled by an iron-fisted dictator Than Shwe. He spends his time capturing snakes and transporting people on his boat, but when he is approached by a missionary group asking for passage to Burma he doesn't want to take them. One of the missionaries, Sarah Miller (Julie Benz), manages to convince him to help. Along the way Rambo kills a boat of pirates who want Sarah in return for the safety of the rest. Eventually they arrive in Burma and Rambo returns home, only to be approached ten days later by the missionaries' pastor in hopes that Rambo will lead a group of mercenaries to help save the missionaries. Rambo is soon embroiled in all out war with the Burmese army that has captured Sarah and the missionaries and must use all of his guerrilla skills to help the group survive.

After.Life

Anna Taylor (Christina Ricci) is killed in a terrible car crash after getting into a big argument with her boyfriend Paul (Justin Long). But when she happens to wake up in a funeral parlor, she doesn't believe she's really dead. Funeral director Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson) explains it to her, telling her that the recently dead are in an in between world for a few days after their death, where they can still walk and talk. Eliot, however, is the only one with the ability to see and interact with these recently dead. Anna accepts this explanation, and takes Eliot's help in preparing herself for her truly dead state, which will occur in a few days. In the meantime, Paul begins to suspect things aren't as they seem, and begins to suspect that Eliot is up to something sinister.

A Christmas Carol


With the death of his business and personal partner Jacob Marley (Gary Oldman) in Old London, Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) turns more and more miserly. Scrooge's dedicated employee, Bob Cratchit (Gary Oldman) cares for his handicapped son Tiny Tim (Gary Oldman) on a pittance salary that Scrooge will not raise, but when Christmas comes once again, Marley returns as a ghost and offers Scrooge salvation if he will face three more spirits. These are The Ghost of Christmas Past (Jim Carrey), the Ghost of Christmas Present (Jim Carrey), and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come (Jim Carrey). Scrooge must come face to face with himself to be redeemed, and his salvation remains in doubt as each spirit passes.

From Paris With Love


A state department functionary with dreams of becoming a superspy who is named James Reece (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) becomes involved with a thuggish and violent spy named Charlie Wax (John Travolta). Working out of the office of Ambassador Bennington (Richard Durden) in Paris, Reece has a propensity for prejudice against terrorists and anyone who looks like one, usually appalling Reece with his snide put-downs of Chinese, Arabs, and Iranians. As a protégé to a man with a license to kill, Reece learns all too quickly how to dispatch any suspicious figure lurking around Paris for a terror cell that wants to attack a humanitarian group eager to feed hungry Africans.

When In Rome


Art and life do not always imitate each other. Such is the case for art curator Beth (Kristen Bell), a beautiful woman who has no luck in love. When she meets Nick (Josh Duhamel), who is smitten with her, she dismisses him too. In an effort to find the right man, she reverses the coins in the fountain concept by taking five coins out of the water. She is then magically followed from Rome to New York by the men who threw the coins into the Fountain of Love, looking for romance. The result is not much better. Suitors show up at her New York City residence, and not one is to her liking, much to the chagrin of her father (Don Johnson). Her boss at the Guggenheim, Celeste (Anjelica Huston), is not any help.

Baby On Board


"Baby On Board" is a romantic comedy about Angela (Heather Graham) and Curtis (Jerry O’Connell) who seem to be the perfect couple in everyones eyes An unexpected preganacy at the peak of Angela’s career turns their world into chaos. Not only are they dealing with the mood swings that come with pregnancy but their friends (John Corbett and Katie Finneran) along with Angel’s boss (Lara Flynn Boyle) cause enough problems for the couple that their relationship could suffer major damage before the baby arrives. The situation turns into a hilarious battle of the sexes while you wonder if Angela and Curtis will survive the whole nine month ordeal.

Men når han begir seg ut på jakt etter en herlig farmor er det ikke mye som går etter planen.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid

An 11-year-old boy named Greg (Zachary Gordon) is just starting middle school. He is very excited about the possibility of becoming one of the "cool" kids. He has an "uncool" friend (Robert Capron) who he feels is getting in the way of that. Throughout the film Greg tries to become "hip" by doing various things, such as joining the school sports teams and signing up for school clubs, but most of the results are comedic. Along the way he is laughed at by his older brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick) who feels like no matter what, Greg will never be cool, and he should just accept that.

New In Town

Lucy Hill (Renee Zellweger) is a big time business woman in Miami. She is in love with all things material and her corporate climbing job. Knowing a promotion is soon to come, she takes the chance to reorganize a manufacturing plant in the middle of nowhere. After a cold greeting from the town, icy roads, and bitter cold weather, she warms up to her new town and eventually finds herself accepted by her new friends. When Lucy finds out that her company wants to shut the factory down, she has to choose between her life dream and her friends and new found love.

Fly Me To The Moon

Nat (Trevor Gagnon) is a fly with a dream, his dream is to go to the moon on Apollo 11, and he convinces his friends Scooter (David Gore), and I. Q. (Philip Daniel Bolden) to accompany him on the brave adventure. When they get aboard the spacecraft in the helmets of the astronauts they are seen by Russian flies on the opposite side of the world. The Russian flies, headed by Yegor (Tim Curry), hatch a plot to cause the spaceship to crash into Mount Rushmore. While the young flies are saving the day on board the ship, Nat's grandfather (Christopher Lloyd) and his long lost Russian love Nadia (Nicolette Sheridan), try to save the day on the ground.

The Crazies


Life quickly turns upside down in the small town of Ogden Marsh, Iowa. A toxin has been released in the town, and it is slowly turning the once peaceful residents into violent psychopaths. Sheriff David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) and his wife Judy (Radha Mitchell) are two of only a handful of residents who have not been affected by this toxin. In an effort to preserve their safety and sanity, David and Judy band together with the few other sane townspeople left in an effort to save themselves, and hopefully, their town. Will this small minority of townspeople be able to find a way to stay safe and avoid the effects of the toxin, or will they also succumb to this mysterious toxin?

Trainspotting


Trainspotting is a film about a group of heroin addicts in Edinburgh, Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor), Spud (Ewen Bremner) and Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller). Their friends Tommy (Kevin McKidd) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle) criticise heroin use; the former is an athletic person, and the latter a drunk. Tommy succumbs to heroin after his girlfriend leaves him. Renton and Spud are caught stealing from a department store. Spud is imprisoned, while Renton volunteers for a drug treatment programme. Since he goes back to heroin, his parents lock him up in a room. Free of his habit, Renton moves to London, gets a job, and begins to settle. He is not pleased when Begbie and Sick Boy join him. They learn of Tommy’s death, return to Scotland and find Spud, now out of jail and drug-free. They all decide to make some money in a drug deal. Their plan is successful, but while they celebrate Begbie attacks a man with a knife, and cuts Spud’s hand. Renton realises that these people, with the exception of Spud, are not his friends, and decides to start a new life – with the money from the drug deal.
