Gentlemen Broncos

Benjamin (Angarano), home-schooled by his eccentric mother (Coolidge), is a loner whose passion for writing leads him on an journey as his story first gets ripped off by the legendary fantasy novelist, Ronald Chevalier (Clement) and then is adapted into a disastrous movie by the small town's most prolific homespun filmmaker.

Up In The Air

As a corporate expert in downsizing operations Ryan Bingham’s (George Clooney) job is to fire people. Ryan loved his life on the road and even meets the woman (Vera Farmiga) of his dreams on one of his trips. His boss, however hires an arrogant young lady, Natalie (Anna Kendrick) who threatens his on the road existence when she comes up with a way to terminate people's employment through video conferencing. Ryan tries to show Natalie the error in her judgment by taking her on one of his trips to terminate some employees. Natalie starts to understand the terrible realities of her job, but does Ryan also see the realities as clear as Natalie does?

Wall-E

Seven hundred years ago, humanity evacuated Earth, driven away by the sheer quantity of garbage piling up; since then the planet’s sole occupant has been a little robot called Wall-E (Ben Burtt), whose job it is to dispose of all that garbage. Finally, however, a spaceship shows up and sends out another little robot, called E. V.E (Elissa Knight), to find out whether in humanity’s absence Earth has regained its ability to support life. Together, Wall-E and Eve manage to find a single plant growing among the garbage heaps and to return it to the human survivors still living on a huge spacegoing cruise liner. Unfortunately, humanity has gotten very comfortable where they are, with robots tending to their every need, and it may be more challenging than originally planned for Wall-E and E. V.E. to get the plant where it needs to be and help bring the human race back home.

Amelia

Amelia Earhart (Hilary Swank), who has always been fascinated by flying, is recruited by George Putnam (Richard Gere) to fly across the Atlantic. While she does it, she’s hungry to prove herself and do it alone. Putnam, meanwhile, falls in love with Earhart. Their relationship remains awkward, while Earhart falls in love with Gene Vidal (Ewan McGregor). Earhart experiences fame and aviation success and aims at flying around the entire world. Her initial attempt does not end well in Hawaii, but Earthart, undaunted, picks up where she left off. She sets off for Howland Island, but fuel begins to run low, and crisis sets in.

Capitalism: A Love Story

Self-anointed watchdog Michael Moore (Michael Moore) tackles the concept of capitalism in the United States by attacking Wall Street with a bullhorn and calling out executives. He posts yellow crime scene tape around the various centers of finance. Moore attempts to uncover members of Congress who have caved into the banking industry. Moore shows the American public, often victims of banking, as jilted lovers who are torn over their loyalty and their betrayal. Using a diversity of archived clips of people such as Ronald Reagan (Ronald Reagan) and Sarah Palin (Sarah Palin) as well as images of Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and Jesus (Robert Powell), he attempts to expose capitalism to the American people as a pernicious evil.

All About Steve


An obsessive and likely disturbed woman named Mary Horowitz (Sandra Bullock) thinks there is some merit in stalking a CNN news cameraman named Steve (Bradley Cooper). Having one date with the man, she goes into a compulsive mode when nothing else consumes her like attaching herself to this unwary man. With her independent career, she is able to fund her travels and have time to pursue the unfortunate victim. She finds encouragement from a reporter named Hartman Hughes (Thomas Haden Church) whose purpose is to bedevil Steve. In that obsessive demeanor Mary Horowitz begins to make news, driving Steve into a desperate and disturbed state of mind.

Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day

Brothers Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy MacManus (Norman Reedus) are trying to live a quiet life in Ireland until they receive word that a priest in Boston has been killed and the MacManus brothers are being framed for the murder. The brothers immediately head out to clear their names and find out who framed them for murder. Along the way back to Boston they meet Romeo (Clifton Collins Jr.), who quickly becomes a part of their team. Meanwhile, FBI agent Eunice Bloom (Julie Benz) investigates the crime scene and decides that the brothers indeed did not commit the crime. With the lines of revenge crossing every which way, will the MacManus brothers get the revenge they're seeking?

Beauty And The Beast

In a land faraway, long ago, not much has changed from modern life. A serial killer terrorizes a small village community where the voluptuous Belle (Estella Warren) lives. Here she works as a mystic and a healer with extraordinary powers that she offers to the unhealthy Count Rudolph (Rhett Giles), but she is deflected by the injustice perpetrated by the townsfolk who are pawns in a power-mad political scheme. They have decided to blame the ugly and old Beast (Victor Parascos) as scapegoat for the series of killings in the neighborhood. Eschewing medicine for detective work, Belle starts to unravel the mystery, learning that an evil sorceress named Lady Helen (Vanessa Gray) may be controlling a Troll (Alex Kuzelicki) who is truly responsible for the bloody crimes.

Robots

Rodney the main robot is out to save the world. The robots are in the process of becoming out-modes. The character travels to Robot City to see Mr. Big Weld in the process, he finds that Big Weld has been taken hostage by his company's new CEO. Rodney and the lovely assistant to the new CEO along with Fender, played by Robin Williams, and the gang of out-modes work to save Big Weld. Big Weld is freed, love is found by several characters, new parts are made to help the out-modes. The villans are scrap.

The Princess And The Frog

This is the classic story of The Frog Prince with a modern day twist, put to jazz. The lives of hardworking waitress Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) and obnoxious Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos) have crossed paths and they fall in love. Then, all of a sudden, the prince is turned into a frog by a voodoo practicing magician. A race against time follows as Prince Naveen and Tiana race against time to break the magicians spell. Luckily they get help by an unlikely crew of characters, differing from an alligator that plays the trumpet, a Cajun firefly to a blind lady that lives in a boat that is perched in a tree.

Hachiko: A Dog's Story

Professor Parker Wilson (Richard Gere) finds an abandoned Akita puppy on his way home from work one day. The dog, named Hachi, is not immediately welcomed by Parker's wife Cate (Joan Allen), but over time, Hachi worms his way into the family's hearts. Hachi is especially attached to Parker - he walks with Parker to the train station every day, and returns to the station every evening to accompany Parker home. As time moves on both Cate and Parker learn to love Hachi and he becomes a very important member of the family. Hachi is also known by some people in their town for his daily trek with his owner. One day, Parker passes away, but Hachi still returns to the station every day, waiting and hoping for his master to return. This single act endears Hachi to the people of the town, many of whom he comes to know during his daily trek and wait.

A Serious Man

People are dying all around Larry Gopnick (Michael Stuhlbarg). A colleague of him states that Larry goes through a rough spot in his life at the moment. His wife Judith (Sari Lennick) wants to leave him and his pesky kids Danny (Aaron Wolf) and Sarah (Jessica McManus) add additional pressures to an already overstressed Larry. Larry needs help and enlists a few Rabbis to guide him through and help him find himself. Will Larry loose faith in his Jewish culture or will he be renewed when he finally gets the answers to help him through his dilemma?

Dark Country

Honeymooners Dick (Thomas Jane) and Gina (Lauren German) are driving from Las Vegas through the desert at night. They come across a bloody victim of a car crash, and they decide to try to help him. Their good deed quickly becomes regrettable, however, when the stranger turns on them. He forces them to do things they would never even think of doing, and the couple soon finds themselves desperately covering up their actions to avoid the prying eyes of the local police. Will the newlyweds find a way out of this horror, and be able to survive the demons of this terrible stranger?

Under The Mountain

Teenage twins Rachel and Theo travel to Auckland to stay with relatives following the sudden death of their mother. Where there was once a psychic bond between them, now there is a rift as Theo, particularly, refuses to confront his grief. Rachel reaches out to him, but is rebuffed.

Legion

When God decides that the human race is no longer worthy of Him, things are in dire straights for everyone on Earth. He sends a legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse, giving the world little hope of survival. The one flicker of hope comes in a random group of diners, trapped together in an out of the way diner in the middle of nowhere along with Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany). With the fate of the world in their hands, it's up to this group of strangers to find a way to pull together and save the world from the Apocalypse.

The Condemned

Jack Conrad ("Stone Cold" Steve Austin) is captured and imprisoned (on death row no less) after a failed military excursion in El Salvador. However, media tycoon Ian Breckel (Robert Mammone) purchases him and a few other strong fighters for the purpose of a pay-per-view event. They must kill each other on a remote island laced with cameras. Whoever wins, gets a cash prize and amnesty. Of course, people are bound to object to such a barbarically violent spectacle (such as Breckel's own woman).

The Fifth Element

his movie takes place in the 23rd Century and follows the story of Corbin Dallas (Bruce Willis), a government agent turned taxi driver who is set on an adventure when Leeloo (Milla Jovovich), a mysterious woman with red hair, falls into his taxicab. She is the Fifth Element, the perfect being who is essential for the salvation of Earth. Dallas and Leeloo must stop Zorg (Gary Oldman) from carrying through a plan that would destroy the world. The movie is filled with vivid visuals and fantastic imaginings of what 23rd Century life would entail. Chris Tucker also co-stars as a flamboyant, quick-witted radio host.

Couples Retreat

Jason (Jason Bateman) and Cynthia (Kristin Bell), in an attempt to save their marriage book a getaway at a couples retreat called Eden to attend therapy sessions. To save on the trip they invite friends to go along and take part. There are not too excited about it but Dave (Vince Vaughn) and Ronnie (Malin Ackerman), Joey (Jon Favreau) and Lucy (Kristin Davis) and a divorced Shane (Faizon Love) and his girlfriend Trudy (Tasha Smith) reluctantly agree to attend. On their first night they all learn that they have problems that apparently need attention and therapy. While there Joey learns that the other side of the island has a singles resort where they are forbidden to go. The couples’ interest turns to jet skiing, swimming with the sharks drinking and swimming. They sneak away to the east side of the island for fun and adventure. Will they be found out and how will their problems be resolved and at what price?

The Box

The story circles around Norma (Diaz) and Arthur Lewis (Marsden). They live in a suburban area with their young child. One day, they receive a simple wooden box as a gift, which changes the entire course of their life. A mysterious stranger (Langella) comes up with a message that the one who possess the box would be given one million dollars by pressing a button. The couple find it hard to believe the stranger when he tells them that when the button is pressed, another human will die somewhere on this earth, but the person who will die will be unknown to the couple. Now, the couple enter a testing period where they get caught up in a moral dilemma and for the first time in their life they're made decide between two options-being selfish or being humane.

Soul Men

Floyd Henderson (Bernie Mac) and Louis Hinds (Samuel L. Jackson) used to be backup singer for Marcus Hooks (John Legend) in a popular 1970's R&B band. Marcus had a chance to become a megastar by going solo and took the opportunity and dumped his band mates. In the interim Louis's life took a major downturn and Floyd has become a successful businessman but for a cheesy string of car washes. Hooks dies and when it's announced that there's going to be a musical memorial for the legend Hooks, Floyd thinks it would be a good idea for he and Louis to go back to the east coast and perform a bunch of their hits at the tribute. After all, they were an integral part of the band. Louis on the other hand doesn't think it's a good idea, nor does he relish the thought of driving across the country in Floyd's ancient convertible. Can Floyd convince Louis to make the trek, and if so, is it really a good idea?

Call Of The Wild

Recently widowed Bill Hale (Christopher Lloyd) takes in his granddaughter Ryann (Ariel Gade) while her parents travel for a few weeks. During her visit, Ryann finds a dog/wolf that has been injured. Quickly falling in love with the dog, Ryann is convinced that she wants to bring it home to Boston and make it her pet. Bill knows that may not be possible, and tries to teach Ryann about the wild and why this animal will one day need to be returned to the wild. Ryann is unconvinced, and works with a neighbor boy to train the dog to be a sled dog. The dog must win a race for them to be able to keep him, but Ryann will run into some trouble in the form of a local bully trying to take the dog from her. Will Ryann and her new friend find a way to train the dog and therefore be able to keep him?

Avatar

Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a former U.S. Marine is selected to participate in the Avatar program. He is sent to a Planet called Pandora, residence of a primitive Na’vi alien race. He meets his officer Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) there who handles the human colony there. The authorities want to explore the planet for resources but are obstructed by the Na’vi. They convert Jake into a Na’vi hybrid and ask him to go to the Na’vi home to convince them to leave. While exploring the area Jake loses his group and is saved from wild animals by Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) a female Na’vi. Jake starts gaining their trust as a Na’vi hybrid. He also reports to his commander simultaneously. He eventually decides to stop the humans from removing Na’vi people from that place and joins them as a Na’vi leaving his human body.

Stigmata

The Vatican relies on Father Andrew Kiernan (Gabriel Byrne) to investigate, and usually debunk, claims of miracles—as the movie opens, he is investigating statues in Brazil crying tears of blood. He exposes the statues as a fraud. He is sent to the U. S. where he meets Frankie Paige (Patricia Arquette), a young, atheist, pretty, and independent hairdresser who is exhibiting stigmata—the five wounds suffered by Christ when he was crucified. Father Kiernan works with Frankie to uncover the mystery—is she crazy? Possessed? The key is a crucifix that belonged to a now-dead priest who was translating a lost, and perhaps forbidden, gospel. The crucifix, given to Frankie by her mother, is perhaps the source of Frankie’s wounds, and other unexplained phenomena surrounding her.

The Road

America is ravaged and a father (Viggo Mortensen) and son (Kodi Smitt McPhee) are alone as they walk through the burned, cold American landscape. The sky is very dark and when the snow begins to fall it is gray instead of white. They desperately want to reach the south where they assume it will be warmer. With only a small pistol to defend themselves against cannibalistic gangs that are ready to ambush everybody along the road, they make their way toward their destination, together with a shopping cart full of food they have scavenged and the clothes they are wearing.

Dogma

Two fallen angels (Matt Damon and Ben Affleck) hatch a plan to re-enter heaven based on a loophole in Catholic dogma, not realizing that to turn church law against God will rip the universe apart. Down comes the messenger of God (Alan Rickman) to charge Planned Parenthood counselor Bethany Sloane (Linda Fiorentino) with a holy quest. It’s up to Bethany, plus the irrepressible, foul-mouthed Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith), the long-dead, long-forgotten 13th Apostle (Chris Rock) and a sexy muse (Salma Hayek) to head the angels off at the pass—specifically, New Jersey—before the world comes to an end.

Blade II

In the first story we find that Blades enemys are Vampires. Blade is also a vampire, but with a twist. He walks in the sun because of his unique birth. His mother was bitten while pregnant. In Blade II, we still find Blade in the proverbial adage of good versus evil, but again with a twist. Blade has aligned himself with the foe that he despises in order to stop genetic super vamps. These super vamps do not discriminate. They attack both human and vampires alike. Even though the foe and Blade have teamed up, their is much distrust on both sides. Eventually they learn to work together, for the good of mankind, and so the vampires don't lose their feeding ground.
