When Ellie (Caitlin Stasey) organizes a trip out into the bush for a week, she invites her friends; Homer (Deniz Akdeniz), Lee (Chris Pang), Kevin (Lincoln Lewis), Robyn (Ashleigh Cummings) and Fiona (Phoebe Tonkin) for an exciting time in an outback area referred to as Hell. However upon their arrival back home they find their families and friends missing as well as pets and livestock all slaughtered. Australia has been invaded by outside forces and the friends need to band together to protect their home. They have the upper hand in knowing the local terrain better than the invaders; the group of rag tag friends begins a battle of guerilla warfare.
