Vanishing On 7th Street

"Vanishing On 7th Street" sees the city of Detroit plunged into darkness during a hot summer night. This could be the cause of many things; the heat, overloading the electrical grid with air conditions maybe even a simple case of a blown fuse. However for five friends it becomes something more. It begins when Luke (Hayden Christensen) takes a look outside finding that everyone in the big city has vanished. Paul (John Leguizamo) and Rosemary (Thandie Newton) come over to Luke’s apartment and the three head down to look for James (Jacob Latimore) and Briana (Taylor Groothuis). Still they all find abandoned cars and dust filled clothing on the streets. Soon daylight doesn’t come and they learn that the shadows are indeed real and are coming for them. All they have for protection is their artificial lights and even then those batteries will soon run out and leave them stranded in the shadows!
